Voting Location

The election (including both advance voting days) will be held at the Devon Community Centre (20 Haven Avenue, Devon, AB).

Advance Voting Dates - Oct. 7 & 10

An Advance Vote will be held at the Devon Community Centre:

• Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

All are invited to use the advance voting dates if they are more convenient than voting on Oct. 16.

Voting on Election Day - Oct. 16

Election Day is Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Devon Community Centre. Voting is open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Voter Identification Information

In order to vote in the 2017 Devon Municipal Election, voters are required to provide one piece of identification that establishes both their name and current residential address, as well as make a statement in the presence of an election office at the voting station.

Any of the following documents that contain BOTH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS will be accepted as valid proof of identification:

• Photo identification issued by a Canadian government or agency, whether federal, provincial or local
• Alberta Operator’s (Driver’s) License
• Alberta Identification Card
• Bank/credit card statement
• Personal cheque
• Correspondence issued by a school, college or university
• Government cheque or cheque stub
• Income tax assessment notice
• Property tax assessment notice
