Community Grant Program

Enriching the Community

Devon's Community Grant Program provides financial assistance towards projects that enhance and enrich the community. The Town of Devon particularly wishes to encourage initiatives from locally-based, registered, non-profit organizations that will impact a broad cross-section of the community, promote a positive community spirit, and are innovative in nature. Individuals or groups may apply for funding in the following areas:

  • Arts
  • Culture
  • Heritage
  • Recreation
  • Environment or
  • Community spirit

Applications are accepted between August 15 - October 1 of each year

The Town of Devon follows these Community Grant Program timelines: 

  • August 15: Community Grant Program applications are open for submission
  • October 1: Deadline to submit funding requests to the Town of Devon
  • November: Funding requests are considered as part of the Town's annual budget deliberations end of November
  • December: Council approves final budget and applications, scheduled annually for mid-December
  • February 1: Applicants will receive a final status update and letter by February 1 at the latest

The Town of Devon acknowledges the land we are on, Treaty Six territory and the homeland of the Métis, which encompasses the traditional lands of the Cree (nehiyawak), Blackfoot (niitsitapi), Nakota (isga), Anishinaabe (anishinaabeg), and Métis (michif) Peoples, who are the legal caretakers and protectors of the lands and waters, and who have been here since time immemorial.

We shall continue to uphold our Treaty responsibilities to all Peoples of Treaty Six and continue to work with all Indigenous Peoples towards a better future together.
