Parks and Trails

The Town of Devon has no shortage of beautiful parks and recreational facilities for visitors to enjoy. In addition to the river alley trails, the Town currently maintains approximately 10 kms of multi-use paved trails linking neighborhoods that form meandering park-to-park connections.

Voyageur Park is a great family park for summer activities and offers easy access to the river and trails. The trail system has way-finding signage along the path highlighting the wildlife you may encounter. Families can enjoy large wide-open areas with plenty of picnic tables and fire pits to enjoy an afternoon picnic, as well as general areas that have expansive play areas for kids and public restrooms. Come find our ‘secret park’, nestled away in among grand trees and shrubbery. Devon is a great place to get away with an easy commute from Edmonton!

Devon Nature Club

Have you seen this around the trails?
The Devon Nature Club is instrumental in the initiation of many trails and parks we see around Devon. This is in place to commemorate the Devon Nature Club for their involvement in protecting the fishery and this important biodiverse area. If you see this sticker, the trail you are standing on was created by the Town of Devon and with the support of the DNC!

Devon Dog Park

Lots of room to let your four legged family members romp at this off-leash dog park. There are two separate fenced areas; one for the smaller or more timid canines, and a larger area designed to provide ample room for distancing. Picnic tables are also available for the two leggeds to rest and visit.
