Conversations to Inspire... a series of ten minute podcasts that will offer thought and opportunity for discussion. Although they are primarily aimed at parents and guardians of younger children, they will resonate with people of all ages.
For each of the podcasts provided, there will be a more in-depth, live chat available and is part of the Parent Connect program. You will see a short description of the video content and the live discussion date by each one. If you miss the live discussion on the particular topic, you can connect the following week at the same time and feel free to talk to Kathy directly. The first three are a "trilogy" and based on the books by Kobi Yamada and the fourth is on resiliency.
The podcast LIVE specials are currently scheduled for the following dates, the podcasts themselves will be made available on this page and YouTube a week ahead:
All four sessions and the Parent Connect Live will be via this Zoom link:
Parent Connect Live runs every Thursday at 10 a.m. via Zoom and is an opportunity for parents and guardians in and around Devon to chat and connect in a safe, respectful space.
Parent Connect is part of the Indoor Playground program, which is unable to run at this time due to Covid restrictions. It is run by volunteers and without them we would not be able to host it. As soon as possible, this program will be up and running again and the Parent Connect Live will be reviewed, however, the podcast sessions will continue throughout the year and the live sessions will occur in the evening instead.
