Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national program that helps kids from ages 4-18 years old to participate in organized sports and recreation. For eligible children, it covers registration, equipment, and/or transportation costs. Through Canadian Tire Jumpstart, some children get the chance to experience a sport for the first time. Others get the boost they need to continue with an activity they love.

Funding Details

• Applications must be submitted prior to the program's start date. 
• Applications must include proof of financial need. 
• Funding is up to $300 per activity, subject to Chapter discretion and/or local demands.
• The annual maximum a child is eligible to receive is up to $600, subject to Chapter discretion and/or local demands.

The Leduc Chapter of the program provides funding for all eligible residents within the Leduc County boundaries. Major community partners include: City of Leduc, Leduc County, Beaumont, Calmar, Devon, Thorsby, Warburg, the Leduc and District Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club - Leduc, Black Gold Regional Schools and St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Schools.
