Congratulations to Urban Whyte for being selected as the first place winner of this year’s award and to Kingsman Cleaning for finishing in a close second. There was an increase in applications for a DESA this year with six local businesses putting their names in to be selected for the award. “It was great to see more of our local businesses apply for the DESA this year,” said Andy Tchir, Environment and Sustainability Coordinator for the Town of Devon. “Congratulations to both the winners and all the other businesses that applied for an award this year and I hope to see all of your names plus more back for next year’s awards.” 1st Place: Urban Whyte Urban Whyte is a home décor company that creates specialized household items from materials that would otherwise go to waste.
