5436 Community Events Out by the River is Saturday, June 1 from 12-3 p.m. at Voyageur Park Enjoy some fun in the sun at Devon’s second ever Out by the River Pride event down at Voyageur Park. There will be plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy including music, games, crafts and a colour powder fight to round out a great day at the river. Picnic food and refreshments will also be available to keep event goers fed and their energy flowing throughout the afternoon. Out by the River Event Details Date: Saturday, June 1, 2019 Time: 12-3 p.m. Place: Voyageur Park There is no charge to attend! “Celebrating the diversity in our community is so important to our Council and Out by the River is our opportunity to recognize and celebrate this diversity,” said Ray Ralph, Mayor for the Town of Devon. “Last year the weather forced us to move this event to the Dale Fisher Arena, so we are hoping that it cooperates and everyone can enjoy Out by the River the way it was intended to be this year – by the river,” said Kristin Walsh, Manager of Parks, Recreation and Culture for the Town of Devon. This event is proudly brought to Devon through a partnership between the Town of Devon, the Devon Public Library and Devon’s Local Youth Experience.
