Head to the Community Centre for a day of info, entertainment & activities

Seniors and older adults in Devon and surrounding communities are invited to the Aging Boldly Seniors Expo at the Devon Community Centre on Nov. 6, 2024.

This one-day event will offer a wealth of information, entertainment, and activities, empowering seniors to embrace independent living while exploring new opportunities. Whether you’re looking for travel inspiration, government services like Service Canada, or guidance on downsizing your home, this event has something for everyone.

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024
Time: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Place: Devon Community Centre, Main Hall
Cost: Free!

Key highlights include:

  • Keynote Speaker Diane Tharp’s presentation “Redefining our Purpose as we Age”
  • Live music performances + chair yoga sessions for gentle fitness
  • Speakers discussing essential topics for seniors
  • Heart to Home meal samples – get a taste of convenient meal options
  • Breakout rooms for in-depth conversations on relevant topics

“We’re excited to bring together a range of local organizations and services to help seniors live their best lives,” said Ki Wilson, FCSS Coordinator for the Town of Devon. “The Aging Boldly Seniors Expo offers a space to connect, learn, and share, all while having a great time.”

The event is free to attend and open to all seniors, their families, and caregivers. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, gather helpful resources, and discover ways to lead healthy, independent lives.

Join us for a day of fun, learning, and community as we celebrate the strength, wisdom, and resilience of Devon's senior population. Let’s age boldly together!
