On Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 7:15 p.m., the Devon RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover collision on Highwood Boulevard near Erie Street South. No injuries were reported as a result of the rollover, however a parked vehicle was struck, causing damages.

Forty-three year-old Bryan Jaeggle a resident of Camrose has been charged criminally with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance as well as Operation of a Conveyance With a Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100 Millilitres of Blood. He is scheduled to attend court in Leduc on April 6, 2023.

Sergeant Chris Mosley, Detachment Commander for the Devon RCMP was quoted saying, “Considering how this incident occurred in a residential area that has a park, walking paths, the hospital and other businesses in close proximity, there was a very real potential for this collision to end in tragedy. Thankfully, it did not. Impaired Driving remains a priority for the Devon RCMP and we will continue our efforts to address this crime and keep our community safe.”

If you suspect an impaired driver, call 9-1-1 to report it.
