3183 Community Events Town wins Dedicated Senior Team Award and Sustainability in Action Award The Town of Devon took home two pieces of hardware at this year’s Annual Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) Convention, the Dedicated Senior Team Award and the Sustainability in Action Award for municipalities with a population between 2,500 and 10,000. Dedicated Senior Team Award The Dedicated Senior Team Award recognizes a municipal administration team for its outstanding contribution in the field of municipal administration. As a small Town, many of the Town’s staff wear multiple hats as they bring their expertise to several different projects. Sustainability in Action Award The Sustainability in Action Award recognizes municipalities who have demonstrated excellence in advancing environmental sustainability initiatives.
