2580 Community Events Join the Town of Devon and be a part of the solution for a greener future Do you go the extra mile to reduce waste in your home or business? Do you want to make a difference and provide input on waste reduction? The Town of Devon is recruiting a Waste Reduction Task Force to assist with its efforts in community engagement and gathering input from Town residents to develop a strategy to reduce waste generated by residents and businesses within the Town. The Task Force will be tasked with doing research and gathering information from the Devon community and bringing it to Council for their consideration on future Town waste initiatives. “Waste reduction efforts across the province have been vital to the preservation of our environment and the livelihoods of our residents,” said Ray Ralph, Mayor for the Town of Devon. “I am proud to represent a community so dedicated to ensuring it remains a clean, safe, welcoming place to live, both today and for future generations.” Devon’s Waste Reduction Task Force will consist of: 5 members of the Devon community 1 member of Devon Town Council The Town of Devon’s Environment and Sustainability Coordinator How do I apply?
