Show your pride at Devon’s second Out by the River Event

Seventeen candidates dropped by the Devon Town Centre Monday morning to drop off their Nomination Papers for the 2017 Municipal Election. Of the 17 candidates, 4 are running for Mayor and 13 for Councillor.

Two candidates have registered to run for Black Gold School Trustee and another has been acclaimed as Evergreen Catholic School Trustee.

The 2017 Devon Municipal Election is Monday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the Devon Community Centre.

Advance voting is available at the Devon Community Centre on:

  • Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The Devon Chamber is hosting a Municipal Candidates Forum at the Devon Community Centre on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. where candidates wll be given time to speak to residents and field questions.
