161 Community Events Update - 9 a.m. Power and water have been restored. Thank you to Fortis for responding so quickly this morning to the power outage that affected the pumps at the Water Treatment Plant. Water Outage Update - 8 a.m. We are currently experiencing a power outage at the Water Treatment Plant that has greatly limited the amount of water output to the Town. Our crew is working diligently along with Fortis to resolve this and expects power & water to be restored by 10 a.m. Once restored, the Water Treatment Plant recommends you let your tap run for a minute to ensure the line is clear.
