246 Community Events Alquinn Homes & Parkwood Master Builder honoured with awards Devon, AB. – In early spring, the Town hosted their second annual spring clean-up contest, calling on local builders to compete for the cleanest and most improved jobsites in Devon. The criteria for these awards included: best response to the initiative, consistency in safety and waste management, and reducing environmental impacts of construction. Following the contest, Devon’s Planning & Operations department selected winners for each category. The Town is proud to present the Premiere Progress Award for the overall cleanest site in Devon to Alquinn Homes and the Impeccable Progress Award for most improved site in Devon to Parkwood Master Builder. “Working with the Town of Devon on building permit applications has been a very simple process and is much appreciated by us all at Parkwood Master Builder. We also appreciate the correspondence from the Town to ensure that we are doing our part to keep our jobsites and local community as safe and clean as possible,” said Dustin MacDonald of Parkwood Master Builder. John McCaffray, President of Alquinn Homes expressed his enthusiasm about the Town of Devon building processes. “Over the course of our builds, we’ve experienced a high degree of involvement from the Town of Devon team members,” said McCaffray. “Our reputation relies on the quality of the projects we deliver, and after our positive experiences to date we have confidence in working with the Town of Devon on many future home builds.” “We are proud to recognize the dedication of our local builders and welcome the opportunity to show appreciation on behalf of the Town of Devon.
