3042 Community Events Compensation review to come back to Council soon Town Council has committed to posting their expense reports each month on the Town of Devon website and to formally review them quarterly during a scheduled regular Council Meeting. Along with posting of Council expenses monthly, earlier this year Council directed Administration pursue a compensation review for both Town Staff and Council as per the Town’s policy to conduct such a review every three years. This review is currently being done by a third party firm and will look at the compensation level of other municipalities with a similar population as Devon. Results from this review will be brought back to Council in the near future and available for the public to view. “Council takes the public’s trust very seriously and committed early on in its term to take measures to remain transparent,” said Mayor Ralph. “We feel that this compensation review is a great start to this promise and we will continue to find ways to show our residents that we are staying accountable to them.
