MMIWG2S+ Recognition Day Art Displayed at Town Office

In recognition of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls, and 2Spirit+ People Day on May 5, the art display “Solidarity” will be hanging in the Town Office lobby until May 12, then moved to a permanent location at the Devon Public Library.

The art display is called “Solidarity”, created using handprints from attendees of last years’ gathering, who came from all over to honor and remember those affected.

In recognition of MMIWG2S+ Day, also known as Red Dress Day, wear red on Friday, May 5 to show your support.
