Council's Strategic Priorities serve as a framework for the Town and set the direction of the work to be done over the course of their term.
Throughout the term, Council and Administration hold Strategic Priorities Planning Sessions to update these priorities and ensure Council's vision is executed in the community.
Council received an update on their strategic priorities through the Bringing Vision to Life - Strategic Priorities Update during their June 26, 2023, Council Meeting.
Through this update, Administration proposed expanding Council's original priorities of Public Engagement, Growth Strategy, Recreation Facility and Business Outreach into the following:

During their Strategic Priorities Planning Session on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, 2021, Council identified the following priorities.
Public Engagement - Looking for opportunities to improve engagement between the Town, Council and residents to ensure all voices are heard when decisions are being made by Council.
Growth Strategy - Identify a strategy for bringing sustainable growth to Devon.
Recreation Facility - Determine if new funding can be obtained for the Recreation Facility Expansion and then make a decision on whether to move forward or explore new options.
Business Outreach - Look for new ways to support Devon's business community.
