Jeff Craddock was elected as Mayor of the Town of Devon in October, 2021. His previous municipal experience includes serving as both Mayor and Councillor between 1997-2007.
In 1992, Jeff came to Devon as a young man pursuing a career in utilities at Devon's Water and Wastewater Plants. During this time, he was also fortunate to join the Devon Fire Department and start his ongoing relationship with the River of Hope Baptist Church.
Devon's Wastewater Plant played a large role in Jeff's life as he later met his wife Kathy there and they joined their two families together to raise their children here in Devon.
Professionally, Jeff has worn a few different hats including experience in power engineering, project management and instructing at NAIT for 5 years. One of his most cherished positions during his career has been working with First Nations water and wastewater infrastructure and training programs under the First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group (TSAG) and with the federal government.
As Mayor, Jeff's main goal during his term is to ensure the Town has sound financial management while providing opportunities for public input to earn the support of the community.
Jeff invites all residents to call or email him if they have any questions or concerns about any programs or initiatives supported by Council and looks forward to continuing to work hard for the community to "earn your vote".
Please note: Council may forward emails to administration to better route your inquiry. Council representatives may also be contacted through the Corporate and Legislative Services office.
