In doing so, Devon joined 23 other municipalities, towns and cities in Canada certified to the standards developed by Nature Canada, with the support of Climate Change and Environment Canada.
Bird Friendly Certification aims to highlight and mitigate threats that have contributed to the loss of an estimated 3 billion birds on the landscape over the last 50 years.
