At Christmas, there are many individuals who cannot afford to purchase themselves the items for a Christmas dinner and many of them are also isolated, and cannot get out to communal lunches that may also be offered around the region. $15 donation will help buy a full Christmas dinner and dessert for one Devon resident.
This is a chance for individuals to help out in a personal way. We continue to encourage larger donations to be directed the Devon Christmas Elves or the Leduc Food Bank, both of whom support Devon residents generously over Christmas and / or throughout the year. This is about creating a sense of belonging in a variety of ways - enhancing the opportunities for residents, some of whom may welcome the personal touch of a Christmas dinner delivery.
“Please accept… my sincere appreciation for the Christmas dinner… I couldn’t afford a turkey, therefore I am thankful for the delivery. Living alone with no visitors at Christmas is very lonely, the dinner made my day! Thank you for your kindness”.
Devon residents only. Low income single adults or low income single / couple seniors who register for the program. As in previous years the food will be cooked fresh by a caterer, frozen and delivered to their doorstep, while following health and safety protocols. Once all donations are in, we will open the registration to our Devon residents to match your donation to their request.

Where there is a shortfall, we are unable to run the program or there is a surplus. the donations will go to the Families in Need Crisis Fund to be used for food gift cards year-round.
Thank you for your ongoing support of each other - you have no idea how much a gesture of this donation can mean to someone.
